Webmaster left Grammer school to start work as a projectionist, after catching the bug from running film shows and doing the Electrician / Stage Manager jobs at the school.

In the 5 1/2 years at Associated British Cinemas (ABC) he was responsible for, in addition to normal 'box' support, PA instalations over the UK as need was to support the growing industry of 'one night tours' and this resulted in him working with most of the 'big names' of the early 60's, many of whom are 'Sirs' today.

The next 25 years were spent with Rank Xerox, first as a field engineer, through assistant to the London Marketing Manager before ending up as the Systems Analyst for the UK Service side of the Business.

In 1990 he then joined his current employers, on what was to be a tempory appointment, but has now been with them ever since; although the name and location of the Company has changed six times to date.

His main hobby, outside the normal computing and photograph ones at home, is using his Narrowboat, currently moored in the West Midlands.

As result of a period as a Special Needs School Governor, Webmaster continues also to rescue, repair, maintain and supply computers free to the less fortunate children and parents whom have to tread that path. So if you have need to safely disposes of any equipment do give him a call at WRBAM.  You will then know your secrets are safe and someone deserving in the UK will benefit without generating the profit  most disposed equipment does for others, most of whom actually never pass it on without lining their pockets.
